Grace's First Trip to the Beach

The Lord blessed me with a wonderful father's day present: Grace's first trip to the beach. It was cold and rainy but it was a lot of fun. Things aren't always the way that we want them to be but we eventually find out that they are just as they should be. God makes no mistakes.
While driving we listened to several wonderful sermons by local preacher, pastor, and teacher, Art Azurdia. It was a treat to be refreshed by God's word and His creation.
He who made all of Creation, a tiny bit of which is displayed above, is our Advocate with the Father (1st John 2:1). What peace and comfort this gives us through the dark watches of the night when all seems to be in disarray. "I will lift up my eyes to the moutains; From whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth." (Ps. 121:1-2)
He condescends to us and graciously gives us Joy.

And, at the end of the day, we know that He has carried us through like a dad carries his beloved child. As the great hymn writer, John Newton, wrote: 'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home.
